Osprey Agent: a native coding agent in action
Open a tool activity group to inspect commands, file reads and edits. Review the verification result and scroll through the corrected code; usage and changed files remain in the inspector.
This film navigates an existing calculator conversation in the real macOS app. It does not make a new model request. Project names and local paths are excluded or redacted; tool results remain visible.
The agent is not sandboxed: it can run commands and change files your account can. Osprey is actively evolving.
From a repository checkout, after installing the build prerequisites:
make -C src/toolchain/targets/macos agent PROJECT=/path/to/your/project

- Safe, elegant, fast. This is Osprey Agent on macOS: a real SwiftUI application, with application logic written in Osprey.
- This recorded calculator conversation starts with a precise request: run the tests, fix the package, and leave the tests unchanged.
- Open the activity group to inspect the commands and file reads. The first test run failed. The tool output is visible in the conversation.
- Now inspect the edit and the next command. Both tests pass. Scroll down to review the corrected code, with syntax highlighting.
- Scroll down to review the corrected code with syntax highlighting. The inspector keeps usage and changed files beside the conversation.
- These are real SwiftUI controls. Osprey application code compiles ahead of time through LLVM, without an embedded JavaScript engine. Typed effects put model requests and tools behind the host boundary.
- Build from the repository, then run make, dash C, apps slash macOS, agent, with PROJECT pointing to your folder. This agent is not sandboxed: it can run commands and change files your account can. Osprey is actively evolving.
