pow (Function)

Signature: pow(x: float, y: float) -> float

Description: x raised to y, C pow semantics: pow(0.0, 0.0) is 1.0, a negative base needs an integer exponent, and an overflow yields infinity — never a fault.

Parameters

• x (float): The base
• y (float): The exponent

Returns: float

print(pow(2.0, 10.0))  // 1024.0

print (pow (2.0, 10.0))  // 1024.0
